Aerograph
I volunteered at my church in January 2008 when it was undergoing major renovations.
An Arkansas-based company, Premier Concepts, came in to give Radiant Church a Colorado-themed
look to go along with its new curriculum. I assisted in the making of the murals,
and in the meantime, was taught how to use an aerograph, better known as the airbrush,
by owner Darle Bowman and artist Mingo Garcia. From this brief lesson, devouring
books on the subject, and lots of practice in my garage, I have taught myself how
to use the airbrush to complete fine art paintings and wall-sized murals.
I use the airbrush to add soft details to my canvas paintings and also do custom
work on t-shirts, jeans, and other clothing. One client had me do a logo on his
drum skin.
If you have a favorite quote or a tribute to a loved one that you want airbrushed on
a shirt, an animal painted on a jean jacket, or a design added to your favorite
pair of canvas kicks (sneakers), contact me for price quotes.
