No, not Bring Your Own Beer! It’s Build Your Own Bouquet!
May Day? Anniversary? Birthday? Graduation? Valentine’s Day?
Why give someone flowers that are just going to wilt and die within a few days,
or a week if you’re lucky? Give them a fun bouquet that will last a lifetime! The
recipient will cherish their bouquet even more knowing that each flower was painstakingly
made by hand. No two are exactly alike!
I make various flowers out of tissue paper: daffodils, carnations, hollyhock, daisies,
etc. You pick the individual flowers you want in your bouquet (be sure to specify
colors), the type of container (ceramic vase, woven basket, terra cotta pot, etc.),
filler (glass beads, Spanish moss, Oasis, etc.), and voila! A unique gift of flowers
that never needs watering and will never die. They can fade, so be sure to keep
them out of direct sunlight.
