Seamstress Bio
I took Home Economics in junior high school (early 80’s) under the direction of
my favorite teacher, Linda Charbonneau, who taught me how to cook, macramé, embroider,
and sew. My first article of clothing was a powder blue fleece sweatshirt, and I
believe I was one of two students in my entire class who could actually wear what
they made!
My love of sewing has since extended to making my own clothes, Halloween costumes,
stuffed animals, and home décor. I use the additional needlework skills that I learned
decades ago to add flourishes to my creations.
